Position: Intake Administration Assistant
Location: Cobram
EFT/Hours: 0.3 EFT (24 Hours Per Fortnight)
Status: Fixed Term Part Time (until 08/11/2026)
Salary: PT $27.7526 - $ 32.6974 plus 12% superannuation
About the Role
NCN Health is seeking an Intake Administration Assistant to join our Allied Health and Chronic Disease Intake team.
This position is responsible for providing high level administrative and clerical services within the NCN Health Intake Team. The role involves working collaboratively with intake staff as well as clients in the community. The role requires timely and efficient management and processing of incoming referrals and confidential management of medical record establishment and adherence to the NCN Health Intake process.
The position will also be required to support front reception over busy period’s and break times as directed by the Manager Allied Health & Chronic Disease.
About You
- Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
- Vaccination against Covid-19 (recommended)
- Certificate III in Office Administration or equivalent or previous experience working in an administrative role in a health setting
- Ability to work in a busy office environment to self-manage demanding and changing workloads and competing priorities
- Ability to maintain accurate and relevant data in client records with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills including demonstrated ability to liaise with people from diverse backgrounds
- Strong working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and ability to learn new systems
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrated capacity of using initiative and be able to work unsupervised
