Position: Physiotherapist
Location: Across NCN Health
EFT/Hours: 0.6 EFT (48 Hours Per Fortnight)
Status: Part Time Permanent
Hourly Rate: $35.7237 - $52.4921 per hour plus 12% superannuation
About the Role
NCN Health is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health and Chronic Disease team.
The Physiotherapist works as part of the multidisciplinary Allied Health and Chronic Disease team at NCN Health, providing quality, client focused Physiotherapy services to the Acute unit, Integrated Community Health Services, and the Moira Community Rehabilitation Centre. The role will promote health and wellbeing via a range of client focused services to individuals and groups aimed to improve, maintain and promote the physical health and wellbeing of clients across a range of clinical areas including musculoskeletal, neurological, pain management, cardio-respiratory and orthopaedic physiotherapy.
About You
- Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
- Vaccination against Covid-19 (recommended)
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent, and current registration as a Physiotherapist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Knowledge of assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of current physiotherapy practice across a range of clinical settings including acute, community and residential aged care environments.
- Knowledge or experience in providing physiotherapy services within a client focused approach to care delivery that promotes client independence and self-management.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.
- Well established organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Ability to work collaboratively as an individual practitioner within a multidisciplinary team environment, without direct supervision.
- Strong computer literacy skills, including the ability to utilise computer software programs and Microsoft Office products
