EFT/Hours:  0.6 EFT (48 hours per fortnight)

Status:         Fixed Term Part Time until 30/06/2026

Hourly Rate: $42.34 to $46.80 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience plus 12% superannuation 

About the Role

NCN Health is seeking a motivated, people focused and detail-oriented Optima Project Officer to support the implementation of the RLDatix Optima digital rostering system across our organisation. This role is central to improving workforce management and ensuring a smooth transition from current systems to a modern, fit-for-purpose digital platform.

Working within the People & Culture team, the Optima Project Officer will play a key role in project coordination, data preparation, user support, change management, and reporting. You will work closely with the Project Manager, the Director People, Safety and Engagement, system specialists, and operational leaders to help drive project milestones, support user readiness, and contribute to successful go-live activities.

This position is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, experience in project support, and a keen interest in digital or HR systems. You will thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy problem-solving, and be comfortable engaging with stakeholders across all levels of a health service. Experience with rostering systems (Optima, PayGlobal, Workday, SAP, or similar) will be highly regarded.

About You

  • Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
  • Tertiary qualification in health administration, business, project management, or related discipline (preferred) or equivalent project experience.
  •  Experience in a project coordination or support role, ideally in a health service environment.
  • HRIS experience in system such as Workday, SAP, Optima or PayGlobal.
  • Understanding of the contemporary Victorian and National Health Care Environment 
  • Recent previous experience in a senior executive role in healthcare in Victoria
  • High level analytical skills and a capacity to translate complexity into simplicity
