Position:      District Nurse - Registered Nurse

Location:     Across NCN Health

EFT/Hours:  0.8 EFT (64 Hours Per Fortnight)

Status:         Fixed Term Part Time (12 months)

Hourly Rate: $55.07 per hour plus 12% superannuation 

About the Role

NCN Health is seeking a District Nurse - Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The District Nurse will take an active role in the coordination and provision of health management education and information related to community nursing to clients of NCN Health and the wider community as required. The role will also provide direct and indirect supervision and support for the District Nurse Students, as required to meet ongoing service provision.

About You

• Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
• Vaccination against Covid-19 (recommended)
• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Minimum of three years clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse.
• High level of competence in the provision of community nursing including, wound management best practice and trends, intravenous access devices, medication administration, negative pressure wound therapy, stoma care and catheter care.
• Ability to work independently and without direct supervision within a multidisciplinary team environment.
