Position: Senior Payroll and Systems Officer
Location: Numurkah
EFT/Hours: 0.8 EFT (64 Hours Per Fortnight)
Status: Permanent Part Time
Salary/ Hourly rate: $42.33 - $46.80 pending experience plus 12% superannuation
About the Role:
As a key member of the Payroll team, the Senior Payroll and Systems Officer supports the delivery of high-quality payroll services and continuous system improvement. The role works closely with stakeholders to maintain and enhance payroll and rostering systems, contribute to process improvements, and ensure compliance.
What we are looking for:
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Proficient in payroll systems and adaptable to new technologies
- Working knowledge of enterprise agreements and ability to seek clarification when needed
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to internal and external stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrated ability to respond to payroll queries with professionalism, clarity, and a commitment to excellent service
- Well-developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a health service or similar setting
- Experience using PayGlobal and RosterOn systems
- Current driver’s licence
