Position:      Planned Surgery Access Wait List Manager – Project Lead 

Location:      Numurkah

EFT/Hours:  1.0 EFT (80 Hours Per Fortnight)

Status:         Fixed Term Full Time

Hourly Rate: $64.000 - $68.6675 per hour plus 12% superannuation

About the Role

NCN Health has an exciting opportunity for a Planned Surgery Access Wait List Manager – Project Lead to join our Numurkah team. The role leads the design and implementation of a PSAP (2024)–compliant planned surgery waitlist service aligned with the Victorian Planned Surgery Reform Blueprint, providing senior clinical, operational and system leadership to establish a scalable, centralised model for NCN Health and future rural partners. The position oversees project delivery, governance and stakeholder engagement within the funded eight-month timeframe and ensures a successful transition to sustainable business-as-usual shared-service operations.

About You

  • Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
  • Vaccination against Covid-19 (recommended)
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Satisfactory National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check prior to commencement of employment 
  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in Nursing management and leadership.
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership and management within a healthcare setting
  • Proven ability to create and maintain a positive workplace culture and articulate a vision for nursing services
