Position: Social Worker
Location: Cobram (required to work across all NCN Health campuses)
EFT/Hours: 0.4EFT (32 Hours Per Fortnight)
Status: Permanent Part Time
Hourly Rate: $35.7237 to $52.4921 per hour plus 12% superannuation
About the Role
NCN Health is seeking a Social Worker to join our team.
The Social Worker works as part of the multidisciplinary Allied Health and Chronic Disease team at NCN Health, providing professional social work services and programs for a diverse range of individuals, carers and families across the organisation including our acute unit, Integrated Community Health unit, Moira Community Rehabilitation Centre, Residential Aged Care facilities, and the Moira Mental Health Service.
The aim of the service is to improve the emotional, social and mental health and wellbeing of individuals through professional social work services, including psychosocial assessment, social casework, supportive counselling, consumer advocacy, group work and community liaison.
About You
- Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
- Vaccination against Covid-19 (recommended)
- Bachelor of Social Work
- Current membership with the Australian Association for Social Workers (AASW)
- Ability to work collaboratively as an individual practitioner within a multidisciplinary team environment, without direct supervision
- Well established organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload
