Location: Across NCN Health
EFT/Hours: 0.6 EFT (48 Hours Per Fortnight)
Status: Permanent Part Time
Hourly Rate: $42.3368 - $ 46.8026 per hour plus 12% superannuation
About the Role
NCN Health has an exciting opportunity for a Quality, Risk and Performance Excellence Data and Compliance Officer to join our Quality, Risk and Performance team.
The role will assist in coordinating NCN Health’s performance and compliance reporting across quality, risk, and governance domains for NCN’s internal and external reporting obligations. Working collaboratively with leaders and teams, the role promotes excellence in care, accreditation readiness, innovation, and continuous service improvement through strong data management and performance monitoring.
To lead and coordinate performance and compliance reporting across quality, risk, and governance domains for NCN’s internal and external reporting obligations.
This role ensures reported data is accurate, complete, timely, and auditable, and supports the organisation to monitor performance, meet obligations, and drive improvement. This includes NCN's internal governance performance dashboard production and continual improvement (board/committee reporting).
The Data and Compliance Officer works collaboratively with the Director, Quality, Risk and Performance and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with NCN Health’s strategic quality and performance improvement priorities and data reporting obligations.
About You
- Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
- Vaccination against Covid-19 (recommended)
- A current Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated experience in performance reporting / statutory reporting / data integrity in a complex environment (healthcare strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to coordinate reporting cycles end-to-end (timelines, stakeholders, quality assurance, submissions, and issue resolution), including evidence of strong follow-through.
- Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting tools (high-level Excel; dashboarding such as Power BI or equivalent) and ability to translate data into clear governance insights.
- Demonstrated experience developing and applying data quality controls (validation rules, reconciliations, audit trails, documentation standards) aligned to data integrity principles.
- Working knowledge (or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge) of
- Victorian AIMS, VHES and ACHS reporting requirements including HealthCollect processes.
- National Aged Care Mandatory QI Program reporting requirements
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including capability to coach others and influence practice change.
- Experience in and understanding of risk management, process improvement and quality accreditation standards.
