Position:       Registered Nurse Graduate Program

Location:      NCN Health

EFT/Hours:   0.6-0.8 EFT (48-64 Hours Per Fortnight)

Status:          Fixed Term - 12 month contract

Salary/ Hourly rate: Part Time  $41.3632 plus 12% superannuation


About the Role:

NCN Health's Graduate Nursing Program offers you the opportunity to practice in a safe and supportive environment that will facilitate your transition from Student Nurse to a confident practising Registered Nurse.

Graduates commence in February 2026, and complete a 12 month supported program. Each graduate will complete rotations across our various departments or two six month rotations in collaboration with Goulburn Valley Health. Our program is well developed, with the ability to provide flexibility to meet interests and a strong work life balance. During the program you will be supported by a Graduate Program supervisor, along with our dedicated Education Team.

Our highly supported program offers many learning and development opportunities including:

  • Graduate nurse study days with the focus of the days on the needs of the group, topics that have been covered in the past include basic ECG interpretation, assessment skills, leadership, communication and wound care
  • Minimum of one speciality rotation
  • Dedicated supernumerary days for each rotation.
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Regular debrief sessions with other Graduate Nurses and the education team
  • Access to regular feedback from Clinical Support Nurses, Nurse Unit Managers and Preceptors.
  • Opportunity to rotate to GV Health
