Position:    Administration Assistant - Acute Ward

Location:   Numurkah

EFT/Hours: 0.8 EFT (64 Hours Per Fortnight)

Status:        Permanent Part Time

Hourly Rate: $ 27.7526 - $ 32.6974 per hour plus 12% superannuation 

About the Role

NCN Health is seeking a dedicated and professional Administration Assistant to join the Acute Ward team at the Numurkah campus. The position is responsible for delivering high-quality administrative, reception, and clerical support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities include greeting clients and visitors in person or by phone, preparing and managing documentation, maintaining filing systems, liaising effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and community members, and receipting client payments. The role also involves providing timely administrative support to staff and being available to travel between campuses at short notice to assist with coverage as required.

About You

  • Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
  • Vaccination against Covid-19 (recommended)
  • Certificate III in Office Administration or equivalent or previous experience working in an administrative role
  • Ability to work in a busy office environment to self-manage demanding and changing workloads and competing priorities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills including demonstrated ability to liaise with people from diverse backgrounds
