Position: Diabetes Educator
Location: Across NCN Health
EFT/Hours: 0.4 EFT (32 Hours Per Fortnight)
Status: Temporary Part Time (until January 2027)
Hourly Rate: Hourly rate will be determined by qualification and experience applicable to the relevant Enterprise Agreement, plus 12 % superannuation
About the Role
NCN Health is seeking a Diabetes Educator to join our Allied Health and Chronic Diseases team across NCN Health. The Diabetes Educator provides a range of high-quality diabetes education, clinical management, information and support to clients and staff across NCN Health, including community outpatients, acute inpatients and residents of NCN Health’s residential aged care facilities.
About You
- Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
- Vaccination against Covid-19 (recommended)
- Post Graduate qualifications in diabetes education and Credentialed Diabetes Educator (CDE).
- Member of the Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA)
- Advanced interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
