Position:     District Nurse (Registered Nurse)

Location: NCN Health

Hours/EFT: 0.3 EFT (24 Hours Per Fortnight)

Status:       Permanent Part Time including Weekend Rotations

Hourly rate: Part Time: $42.1368 - $50.3237 plus 11% superannuation - Rate will be determined based on previous experience as a Registered Nurse and Community Nursing experience.

About the Role:

District Nursing – NCN Health have an exciting opportunity for a District Nurse to join our Community Nursing team. The District Nurse will take an active role in the coordination and provision of health management education and information related to community nursing to clients of NCN Health and the wider community as required. The role will also provide direct and indirect supervision and support for the District Nurse Students, as required to meet ongoing service provision.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of three years clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • High level of competence in the provision of community nursing including, wound management best practice and trends, intravenous access devices, medication administration, negative pressure wound therapy, stoma care and catheter care.
  • Ability to work independently and without direct supervision within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Vaccination against Covid-19 is a mandatory requirement
