Position        Administration Officer – People and Culture

Location:       Cobram and Numurkah

EFT/Hours:   0.6 EFT (48 per Fortnight) across 4 or 5 days per week

Status:          Part Time Permanent

Salary/ Hourly rate:   $29.5763 to $37.3542 per hour depending on experience plus 11.5% superannuation

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person due to the pending retirement of the current incumbent at the end of October. The role is required to work at Numurkah and Cobram campuses as rostered.

The Administration Officer – People and Culture supports the Director of People and Culture and broader People and Culture team with high level administrative support for employee relations matters, including letter preparation, filing, workcover administration and return to work plans, preparation of agendas and minutes for the Staff Wellbeing (SWELL) Committee, drafting presentations, instructions, policies and procedures, reporting and administration of accommodation requirements.

The role also supports the broader People and Culture team during the absence of the Administration Assistant including administration of the People and Culture Inbox, creating and updating security cards, and assisting with and triaging general enquiries, agenda and minutes of the People and Culture Department meeting, data entry into various systems and registers including Kineo (online training system) and others as required.

Essential:

·          Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent, or previous experience working successfully in an administrative role ideally in a HR/P&C environment;

·          Excellent customer service skills;

·          Well-developed interpersonal and communication (listening, written and verbal) skills, including the ability to work with a diverse range of people;

·          Excellent numerical skills;

·          Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs eg Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook with the ability to learn and utilise various computer programs and databases;
