Location:      All NCN Health Campuses as required

EFT/Hours:  0.8 EFT (64 Hours Per Fortnight)

Status:          Permanent Part Time

Salary/ Hourly rate:  $37.6763 - $41.6526 per hour plus 12% superannuation

 

About the Role

NCN Health have an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for enhancing learning outcomes, supporting career pathways and developing future employment opportunities at NCN to join our team.

The Learning and Development Coordinator is a newly established role that builds upon the functions of the Workplace Trainer and Careers Advisor, in accordance with the Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Manager and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement (2021–2025).

This position plays a vital role within the People & Culture team, providing training, development, and career support services to non-clinical staff across all NCN Health campuses. The role will focus on developing and delivering, or sourcing accredited and non-accredited training programs, supporting career pathway initiatives, and coordinating programs that enhance learning and employment outcomes, particularly for employees with limited formal education or English language proficiency.

This position also collaborates with the NCN Education team to support the development and expansion of non-clinical staff training within clinical settings. It further contributes to increasing opportunities and pathways for Gap Year placements, Work Experience, and Traineeships across Clinical, Allied Health, and non-clinical areas.

 About You

  • TAE40122 (or equivalent) Certificate IV Training and Assessment or working towards same
  • Experience in developing, delivering or coordinating training package delivery to enhance employment opportunities for career and personal growth.
  • A passion for building partnerships to develop and support future employment pathways.
  • Working knowledge of Learning Management system
  • Vaccination against Seasonal Influenza (recommended)
  • Vaccination against Covid-19 (highly recommended)
  • A current Drivers Licence
