In this role, you’ll lead, inspire and contribute to the success of our Lending Services Team based in Bundaberg. At Auswide Bank we value our people and most of all, our customers. Our vision is to be a leader in banking within our communities. 

Key Responsibilities

·      Supporting the Head of Support Services and following the strategic direction of the bank

·      Develop, drive and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues in Support Services, Head Office departments, sales channels and Auswide Bank’s customers

·      Comply with all Auswide Banks policies and procedures.

·      Key contact for third party relationship, eg: MSA National

·      Provide leadership to the Lending Services staff and greater Support Services team

·      Effectively manage team's daily workflow of operational activities

·      Review Promapp and SSO Policy regularly, and request any necessary amendments

·      Competent call, email & process logging for FTE purposes

·      Identify and organise implementation of process improvement opportunities

·      Projects and tasks on an ad hoc basis

·      Provide training and performance management within your Lending Services team.  

. Effectively and efficiently manage the performance of your team

·      Manage teams leave and performance reviews

. Answer complex questions

·      Hands on from a managerial aspect with your team but also you will be expected to be able to assist with an overflow of work, which will include day to day operational responsibilities such as authorisation, documentation, loan maintenance, rate classes, month end reporting and interaction with custodians. 

About You

As well as having excellent & effective problem solving and communication skills, you will also require:

  • Model the professionalism required of a leader
  • Aptitude to understand and follow policy and procedures
  • Have excellent written, verbal, interpersonal skills and a strong customer focus
  • Be a critical thinker with exceptional attention to detail
  • Have intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (in particular Excel & Word)
