We are seeking expressions of interest to join MyState Group as a Business Development Manager.

Following the merger of MyState Bank and Auswide Bank, MyState Limited is now a stronger, more ambitious financial services group operating across four brands: MyState Bank, Auswide Bank, SelfCo and TPT Wealth.

With increased scale, a broader product offering and a challenger mindset, brokers play a critical role in how we grow sustainably and deliver value to customers. This role exists to strengthen our broker presence across Southern Sydney and support continued growth through trusted third‑party relationships.

The Opportunity

As Business Development Manager – Broker Partnerships, you will be responsible for building, managing and growing a portfolio of broker relationships across Southern Sydney, representing MyState Bank and Auswide Bank.

This role focuses on developing deep, productive broker partnerships through onboarding, education and ongoing support. You will work closely with aggregator networks and individual brokers to drive residential lending outcomes, while also identifying opportunities across commercial lending and asset finance.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will manage your own patch while partnering closely with internal credit, product and operations teams to deliver a consistent and reliable broker experience.

What You Will Be Accountable For

  • Building and managing a portfolio of broker relationships across Sydney, including active and inactive partners
  • Onboarding, accrediting and training new brokers across both MyState Bank and Auswide Bank
  • Delivering product education, updates and ongoing broker support
  • Developing and leveraging strong relationships with aggregator groups
  • Driving sustainable residential lending growth through third‑party channels
  • Identifying and progressing opportunities in commercial lending and asset finance
  • Acting as a trusted representative of MyState’s brands, values and risk standards in market
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to support efficient deal flow and positive broker outcomes\

The Person We Are Looking For

This role will suit a commercially minded relationship manager who enjoys working in market and building long‑term partnerships.

You are likely to bring:

  • Experience in banking, lending, business development, account management or B2B sales
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence and engage a diverse broker network
  • A proactive, organised approach to managing a defined geographic portfolio
  • Commercial curiosity and a willingness to learn new products and markets
  • Confidence working autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal teams

Mortgage broking experience is welcome but not essential. We are equally open to candidates who bring strong relationship and commercial capability and are motivated to learn the broker channel.
