The opportunity

This role will support the delivery of AI proof of concept initiatives across the business, with a focus on AI agents, process optimisation, automation and adoption. It suits someone who can work across business and technology, make sense of ambiguity, and translate ideas into clear use cases, delivery plans and measurable outcomes. 

As a Senior Delivery Specialist, you will bring structure to new ideas, help teams understand what AI agents can and cannot solve, and ensure each proof of concept is underpinned by a clear problem statement, process understanding, expected benefits, risks, controls and adoption plan. This is a hands-on role with real influence. You’ll lead analysis across the business, and work closely with senior stakeholders, bringing clarity in complex, fast-moving environments.

Location: Brisbane or Hobart

Initially a 12-month contract

What you’ll do

• Lead delivery of the AI Project, from opportunity identification through to implementation and adoption.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer outcomes through AI and process improvement.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, use cases and delivery plans.
• Facilitate workshops and align stakeholders to drive decisions and outcomes.
• Assess and prioritise AI opportunities based on value, feasibility and risk.
• Partner with technology teams and vendors to deliver practical AI solutions.
• Manage risks, dependencies and governance requirements.
• Support change management, training and adoption activities.

What we’re looking for

You are curious about AI, but grounded in business outcomes. You do not need to be a data scientist or engineer, but you do need to understand enough about AI agents, automation, workflow and data to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions and translate between business and technology teams.

• Experience delivering AI, automation, digital transformation or business improvement initiatives.
• Strong business analysis, process mapping and solution design capability.
• Ability to identify, assess and prioritise AI opportunities.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and driving outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Experience in banking, financial services or other regulated environments.
• Proven delivery experience managing scope, risks, vendors and dependencies.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and business outcomes.
• Based in either Brisbane or Hobart.
