Settlements Officer

Looking for your next step in finance operations? Selfco is expanding, and we’re on the hunt for a detail‑driven, proactive Settlements Officer to join our busy Settlements team, based in Sydney.

As the Settlements Officer, you will closely with our Settlements Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely settlements for our extensive broker network.

What You’ll Do

• Process settlement requests from our broker network quickly and accurately
• Review loan documentation and ensure all requirements are met before issue
• Accurately prepare settlement figures and manage disbursements
• Complete PPSR registrations for each contract
• Conduct confirmation calls with customers at settlement
• Send remittances to suppliers and brokers
• Issue welcome packs to customers post‑settlement
• Manage post‑settlement follow‑ups, including PPSR removals for refinances

What You Bring

• 2+ years in settlements, loan processing, or a similar finance role (highly desirable)
• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal
• Good numerical and problem‑solving ability
• A proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high‑volume environment
• Collaborative, reliable and team‑focused
