We are seeking a Customer Banking Specialist to support our customers in our Gladstone branch, on a 12-month contract. This opportunity is Part-time, offering 30 hours per week and covering a parental leave.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistent, high‑quality customer service across all touchpoints
  • Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, account openings and closures
  • Understand customer needs and discuss banking products and services that may be suitable
  • Verify and update deposit and lending applications and complete processing accurately and on time
  • Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures and legislative requirements
  • Act as a voice for the customer by identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience
  • Work collaboratively within the team and assist with onboarding new team members

About You

  • Strong communication skills with good attention to detail
  • Experience in a customer facing role
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • A willingness to learn, develop and take ownership of your performance
  • Previous experience in banking, lending or financial services is advantageous but not essential.
