About the role
As our Community & Stakeholder Engagement Manager, you’ll be the local face of Auswide Bank in all regions were our branches are located. Working closely with Branch Managers and key community partners, you’ll strengthen our presence and help bring our local engagement strategy to life.
You’ll collaborate with our Project Marketing Manager and Campaign & Content Manager to activate meaningful community programs, events, and partnerships — ensuring Auswide Bank continues to be a genuine part of the communities we serve.
What you’ll be doing
- Building strong, trusted relationships with Branch Managers across multiple regions
- Representing Auswide Bank at local events, business forums, community meetings, and networking opportunities
- Identifying high‑value community and partnership opportunities that align with our values
- Creating and maintaining a regional events calendar as a key first deliverable
- Supporting sponsorships, local activations, and grassroots programs
- Working closely with the marketing team to deliver community‑aligned campaigns
- Bringing insights from the community back into the business
- Building connections with councils, chambers of commerce, not‑for‑profits, schools, and local businesses
About you
You’re a connector — someone who enjoys meeting people, building trust, and finding ways to contribute meaningfully. You thrive in varied, community‑focused work and feel at ease representing the brand in different settings.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in, Community Engagement, Stakeholder Relations, local area marketing or similar outward‑facing roles
- Strong communication and relationship‑building capabilities
- A proactive, opportunity‑minded approach
- Confidence in coordinating events and community initiatives
- The ability to work independently across multiple locations
- A genuine passion for supporting local communities
- The ability and willingness to travel frequently across the region
