At Auswide we are here to make banking brighter for our customers and our people. We are looking for a warm, proactive Customer Banking Consultant to join our Mackay branch and help deliver the exceptional customer experiences we are known for.

As the first point of contact in our branch, you’ll guide customers through their daily banking needs, create seamless experiences, and connect them with solutions that make their lives easier. You’ll be an important part of a team that’s passionate about helping customers feel confident, supported, and valued.
We’re open to full-time or part-time applicants. An initial12-month contract.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, efficient service
- Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, account openings and closures
- Identify customer needs and refer them to specialist teams when appropriate
- Support customers with digital banking tools and self-service options
- Contribute to branch goals through service and relationship-building
- Assist with onboarding new customers and supporting your teammates
- Maintain compliance with MyState procedures and regulatory requirements
- Resolve customer queries quickly and escalate issues when needed
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in customer service — retail or banking preferred
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others
- Confidence learning new systems and managing competing priorities
- A collaborative approach and willingness to get involved
- A solution-focused mindset and drive to achieve outcomes
Knowledge of banking products is helpful but not essential — we’ll give you the training you need to thrive.
