If building relationships and talking managed fund investments is your thing, we should talk.
TPT Wealth is looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead the growth of our Funds under Management within the Lending & Investments division.
This is more than a sales role, it's an opportunity to activate your network, build trusted partnerships, and expand the reach of a well-established brand with strong roots in the Tasmanian market. You'll be the connector between our managed funds and the advisers, associations, institutions and individuals who trust us with their investment goals.
In this role, you’ll develop and execute a strategic business development plan aligned to TPT Wealth’s growth objectives. You’ll work to energise existing referral sources while building new alliance partnerships across Tasmania, deepening our presence in adviser groups, law firms, accounting practices, institutions and the broader retail investor market. You’ll represent TPT Wealth at key industry events, networking forums and professional development sessions, and collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless and compliant client experience. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional service, maintaining meaningful relationships, and achieving growth targets.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring proven experience in funds management distribution or portfolio management, ideally with a minimum of five years in a similar role. You’ll hold an RG146 qualification and be able to demonstrate success in driving business growth and meeting sales targets. A strong understanding of income funds and financial products is essential, along with a solid grasp of compliance requirements, including KYC, AML/CTF, and broader regulatory frameworks.
You’ll be an engaging and confident communicator who can influence, negotiate and build trust with a range of stakeholders. With a self-motivated and autonomous approach, you’ll know how to prioritise your time and drive activity while maintaining resilience in a fast-paced environment.
At TPT Wealth, you’ll be part of a growing national group with a strong local presence. We’re committed to doing things better — for our customers, our people, and our communities. If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you.
