Business Development Manager - TPT Wealth Lending & Investments

Following the merger of MyState and Auswide Bank in February 2025, the combined Group operates under four brands – MyState Bank, Auswide Bank, SelfCo, and TPT Wealth – offering a suite of banking products through branches, digital channels, and trusted broker networks across Australia.

Business Development Manager – TPT Wealth.

TPT Wealth has been helping Tasmanians grow and protect their wealth for over 140 years. We combine strong local relationships with national reach, and we’re looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager to lead the next chapter of our growth.

We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to grow TPT Wealth’s Funds under Management (FUM) within its Lending & Investments division. This role focuses on engaging, educating, activating, and retaining referrers of investors into TPT Managed Funds.

By leveraging existing relationships in Tasmania (including partnerships, industry associations, advisers and networks), you’ll strengthen TPT’s presence and brand in the Tasmanian managed funds space.

Your Impact

• Develop, maintain and execute a business development plan aligned to TPT’s growth strategy to grow Funds under Management.
• Engage with existing active and inactive referral sources and introduce new alliance partners to TPT Wealth.
• Work closely with alliance partners to enhance TPT Wealth’s market presence.
• Meet sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including TPT Operations, Client Service and Commercial Lending.
• Represent TPT Wealth at industry events, networking functions and professional development sessions.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory requirements and organisational policies.

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in funds management distribution or portfolio management.
• Must be RG146 qualified.
• Proven ability to engage alliance partners, generate referrals, and meet sales targets.
• Strong understanding of financial products and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyse data and make informed business decisions.
• Digital literacy – ability to leverage CRM tools and digital platforms for referrer engagement.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
