Location: Bundaberg or Hobart

At MyState, we believe the way people learn and grow shapes the way we serve our customers and communities. We’re looking for an organised, detail-focused and people-oriented team member to join our Learning & Development team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is a great opportunity to step into L&D, build experience within a broader People function, and gain exposure across onboarding, compliance and organisation-wide learning initiatives.

The Opportunity

In this role, you’ll play an important part in ensuring learning runs smoothly across the business. Working closely with leaders, subject matter experts and key stakeholders, you’ll support the coordination and delivery of learning programs while building hands-on experience across the full learning lifecycle.

You’ll contribute to everything from onboarding new starters to supporting system administration and training delivery, developing practical skills that will support future career growth in People and Capability.

What Success Looks Like

  • Training schedules, bookings and logistics are well organised and run seamlessly
  • New starters feel supported through structured onboarding activities
  • Learning records are accurate, up to date and compliance requirements are met
  • The Learning Management System is efficiently maintained, with users supported and enrolled in training
  • Training sessions—both virtual and in person—are well coordinated and professionally delivered with your support
  • Learners and stakeholders receive timely, helpful responses to their queries
