CS Energy are partnering with MRAEL to deliver a comprehensive apprenticeship program!

About the Role:

Electrical and Instrumentation Apprenticeship (Dual Trade - 5 Year Apprenticeship)

We are looking for applicants who are interested in completing a Electrical & Instrumentation Apprenticeship (5 years). During the apprenticeship you will receive formal training and learn how to perform maintenance work under the supervision of qualified tradespeople. Electrical maintenance tasks will be assigned within designated plant areas and you will be responsible for ensuring that the work meets daily production generation requirements, reliability and safety targets.

  • Electrical wiring, installation, and maintenance
  • Blueprint reading and interpretation
  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • Safety regulations and procedures
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking

This is an exciting opportunity to gain on-the-job training and support from a great team of experts in the field, whilst studying a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician & Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control (UEE30820 & UEE31220)

Successful candidate will possess the following:

  • High School Certificate (Year 10 minimum)
  • Strong aptitude in Mathematics and English
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High safety focus
  • Motivation to learn and develop new skills
  • Manual drivers licence

As these roles are residential, apprentices are required to be living locally within a safe distance from Callide Power Station. Please note travel and accommodation is not provided for these positions.
