MRAEL are currently seeking a hardworking and eager Light Vehicle Mechanical Apprentice to join the team at Southern Cross Industrial Group.
For the past 20 years, Southern Cross Industrial Group has been providing innovative and low cost solutions across the mining, agricultural and construction industries throughout Central Queensland. This is a great opportunity to gain quality hands-on industry training whilst being supported by a dedicated and highly skilled team.
What you'll be doing:
- Assist in routine maintenance, diagnostic and repairs on Light Vehicles
- Complete system inspections
- General workshop duties
- Gain a solid understanding of workplace safety, teamwork and technical skills
- Progress under the mentorship of industry professionals
What we are looking for:
- Must be an Australian citizen / resident
- Drivers licence, reliable transport
- Genuine interest in career pathway
- Reliable and eager to learn
- Previous work experience or Pre vocational course (Certificate II in Automotive) is highly regarded
- A strong commitment to safety

Full Time Apprenticeship (8 hour days, 5 days per week)
