MRAEL are currently seeking a highly motivated Apprentice Diesel Fitter to join the team at H-E Parts.

The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic candidate who is interested in completing training and education as an apprentice, completing a Certificate III in Engineering with a view to becoming a trade-qualified Fitter.
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:
- Participate in on-the-job training and block release training with an appropriate RTO in practical and theory subjects,
- Observe safety policies and procedures, and contribute to good housekeeping of facilities,
- Assist tradespeople with disassembly and rebuilt of front and rear wheel groups,
- Assist with measurement and inspection of components for repair,
- Manual handling.
About You:
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:
- Completed Year 12 with sound results in Maths, English and relevant vocational education subjects,
- High level of mechanical aptitude,
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures, both written and verbal,
- Ability to operate equipment and systems,
- Effective written and verbal communication skills,
- Ability to read, comprehend and write reports
- Pre-Vocational Course - Certificate II in Engineering
