MRAEL are currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our team, based in the Emerald office as a Recruitment Administration Trainee!
We ae offering a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic industry, whilst working towards a Certificate III in Business.
As a Recruitment Administration Trainee, you will play a pivotal role in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, Apprentices and Trainees. You will work alongside experienced professionals committed to helping you grow and develop your career foundations.
Your daily duties will include:
- Candidate Sourcing: Assist in advertising vacancies across multiple channels, including job boards and social media, and maintain a database of potential applicants
- Candidate Engagement: Calling candidates, conducting initial screenings, and professionally updating them on their recruitment progress. Arranging interviews between hiring managers and candidates.
- Application Management: Log and sort incoming applications in various states, ensuring all candidate details are up-to-date and accurate in the recruitment system.
- Compliance & Records: Maintaining accurate employee records and assisting with internal file audits.
- Onboarding Coordination: Organising pre-employment medicals and inductions and liaising with stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
- Systems & Data: Using recruitment systems and maintaining stakeholder databases with high attention to detail.
- Communication: Creating and disseminating weekly vacancy lists and managing required paperwork with various stakeholders.
- Skills Development: Learning essential skills in candidate sourcing, job postings, and professional client communication.

What You will Bring:
- A positive, proactive "can-do" attitude and an eagerness to learn.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Suite & Outlook) and strong organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and build rapport with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear correspondence and deliver information with impact.
- Requirements: A current Driver’s Licence, and the ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check (which MRAEL can assist with).
