We are offering a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic industry whilst working towards a Certificate III in Business, commencing in January 2026!
As a Business Administration Trainee, will play a key role in supporting our Apprentice and Employment Consultants and provide general administrative support.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Team Collaboration – Working closely with internal departments to coordinate processes and deliver efficient outcomes
- Business Support Services – Providing high-quality administrative assistance to ensure smooth operations across MRAEL’s workforce and training programs.
- Compliance & Data Management – Maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to regulatory and organisational standards.
- Administrative Support - Carry out various administration duties
- Processing - Assisting with processing Apprentice and Trainee sign-up paperwork
- Onboarding Coordination - Liaising with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth onboarding and management of Apprentices
- Reporting - Assist with maintaining stakeholder databases and completing reporting
The role will be full time Monday-Friday based within the MRAEL Hervey Bay Office.

We are seeking an individual with strong attention to detail and strong communication skills (both written and verbal). If you are enthusiastic with a can-do attitude, then this will be the perfect role for you! We are looking for an eager person who is adaptable and ready to contribute to the team.
- Computer confidence in Microsoft Suite and Outlook
- A positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Previous administration or customer service skills (not required but highly regarded)
- Willingness to complete studies - Certificate III in Business
