2nd Year Cabinet Making Apprenticeship

MRAEL are currently seeking a highly motivated and eager 2nd Year Cabinetmaking Apprentice to join the team at Transform Interiors.

Based in Ashgrove for over 17 years, Transform Interiors specialise in high-end custom cabinetry, built-in furniture, and bespoke joinery. We take pride in our craftsmanship and are looking for a dedicated 2nd Year Apprentice to join our close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be involved in the full lifecycle of our projects—from the workshop floor to the final install. Your daily tasks will include:

• Building and assembling cabinets and joinery components.
• Reading and interpreting assembly plans and drawings.
• Confident use of hand and power tools (drills, saws, etc.).
• Assisting with high-quality installations at residential and commercial sites.
• Loading/unloading cabinetry and materials between the workshop and site.
• Keeping the workshop and installation sites clean and safe.

This is a great opportunity to gain quality hands on industry experience whilst working towards your Nationally Recognised Qualification and becoming trade qualified.

Requirements:

• Must be an Australian citizen/resident
• Must have Drivers Lic and reliable transport
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to follow directions and a willingness to learn
• Genuine interest in this career path
• Must have or be willing to obtain a White Card

Work Type:

Full Time Apprenticeship (Monday - Thursday, 38 hours per week)
