As an Instrumentation & Control Apprentice, you will undertake structured training and hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems.

This apprenticeship provides a pathway to becoming a qualified Instrumentation Technician, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of industrial processes.

About the role:

  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Learn to calibrate, test, and maintain sensors, transmitters, Analyser systems, and other control equipment.
  • Support fault-finding and diagnostics on electrical and electronic control systems.
  • Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Follow safety procedures and comply with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment status.
  • Attend and complete all required training modules and assessments.

Location: Moorebank, NSW

About you:

You will have a positive attitude, willingness to learn and work collaboratively with others. Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Completion of Year 12 preferred with a focus on Mathematics and Science
  • Genuine interest in electronics, automation, and industrial systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Commitment to safety and continuous learning. Ability to work in industrial environments (e.g., manufacturing plants, refineries, etc.).
