Cost Assurance Analyst & Cost Modeller

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Assurance Analyst and Cost Modeller to join our defence team in Canberra.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Assurance Analyst: You will be responsible for undertaking qualitative and quantitative cost assurance activities across both pre-approved and approved cost modelling activities against a range of projects/programs to support BAU reporting and Gate approaches.

Cost Modeller: You will be responsible for undertaking qualitative and quantitative analysis of a range of data sources on capability acquisition and sustainment activities. You will support project governance and assurance activities and will directly contribute to routine program reporting.

As the ideal candidate you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or a minimum of 8 years relevant industry experience
• Experience in a CASG/Defence/Defence Industry environment
• Previous experience with Defence cost modelling tools
• Strong understanding of Defence systems (financial, budget, capability requirements, delivery plans)
• Experience with analysis and reporting in a Defence context
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Previous experience with Defence governance and assurance platforms (PPRIP, MRM)
• Strong understanding of Defence systems (financial, budget, capability requirements deliver plans)

All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a NV1 Clearance or above should apply.
