About the Role

This is a great opportunity for a Perth based experienced Document Controller from construction or resources projects who has led document control functions on complex EPC projects, supporting the engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases.

Whether you are an experienced Document Controller or someone ready to take the next step up into a senior role, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. This is a full time position based in our Head Office in Perth CBD.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;

  • Extensive, hands-on experience applying document, records, quality, information security, privacy, and management standards within EPC project environments including ISO 19475, ISO 15489, ISO 9001, ISO 16175, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 45001, and relevant Freedom of Information legislation.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Document Controller on construction or resources projects, working across multiple electronic document management systems as a system user, administrator/configurator, and trainer.
  • Construction Project Management Software experience such as InEight, Aconex or similar is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated capability in developing, implementing, and governing project-specific Document Control plans, procedures, and workflows aligned with contractual, client, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of engineering and construction document types, deliverables, and registers, including drawings, specifications, schedules, technical queries, transmittals, RFIs, MDRs, ITPs, and as-built documentation.
  • Proven ability to design and implement robust electronic filing structures that support high-volume document turnover while minimising duplication, rework, and version control risk.
  • Strong supervisory and stakeholder engagement skills, including training and supporting engineers, contractors, and project teams in document control requirements and systems.
  • End-to-end experience managing controlled documents from initial creation through review, approval, issue for construction/use, distribution, handover, and ongoing revision control in line with EPC project lifecycle requirements.
