About the Role

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Electrical Superintendent to join us on multiple renewable energy construction projects on a 2/1 Roster. As an Electrical Superintendent with Monford you will provide hands on leadership and supervision to our field crews and ensuring works are completed in a safe and efficient manner. In addition, some of your key responsibilities will include;

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and attract relevant construction workforce to suit project requirements.
  • Lead relevant work teams within the project scope and demonstrate and lead appropriate workplace behaviours and conduct.
  • Lead safety, quality, and environment culture onsite in line with the Monford safety culture. 
  • Ensure all personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to adopt exemplary safety behaviours and lead key risk management activities on assigned projects. 
  • Guide and mentor, the workforce on environmental impact and implement effective controls to mitigate risk and be more risk-averse to avoid becoming complaisant. 
  • Effectively manage subcontractor and supplier relationships on the project and demonstrate a strong relationship with clients and client teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead Supervisors to communicate effectively with the client and Engineers.
  • Read, interpret, and provide input into the construction program. Forecast and plan for expected resource requirements well in advance of required need to ensure program achievement.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will have the following experience and skills;

  • You will hold the required electrical qualifications and have significant previous experience in a similar role on a large construction project, within the resources sector or similar.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading and motivating teams and driving successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in working to and meeting deadlines and project deliverables.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to liaise with key stakeholders.
  • High level attention to detail with strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • The ability to work in fast paced environment and be able to prioritise, multitask and think on your feet.
