About the Role

Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for suitably qualified Accounts Payable to join our fantastic Finance Team at Monford Group. If you love numbers and working with a team that value resilience, positivity, innovation and true team work, then this role is for you.

This is a full time, permanent position based in our Head Office in Perth CBD.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Execute the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable for our construction business. Ensure accurate setup of new suppliers and recording of supplier invoices in the ERP. Invoice processing and three-way matching (PO, invoice, delivery note)
  • Ensure accurate and on timely payment of our supplier invoices.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any invoice discrepancies or payment issues.
  • Managing supplier queries
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Support the Finance end-of-month process.
  • Execute weekly and ad/hoc payments.
  • Analysis & report of AP results, including aging of creditors.
  • Assist with fortnightly and monthly payroll tasks

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following; 

  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in an Accounting role.
  • Experience in liaising with other staff and suppliers in a professional manner.
  • Excellent analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Understanding of and compliance with company procedural requirements.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures
  • Experience using Vista is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
