About the Role

Due to our continued success and growth, we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Project Engineers to join our national Projects teams across WA and Queensland. You will manage and execute engineering projects from concept to completion. This role will require you to work on FIFO, as per required rosters on the projects including 3:1 rosters.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Scope of Work for projects, ensuring clear project objectives, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Manage and execute engineering projects, including feasibility studies, design, implementation, and commissioning.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, including designs, specifications, reports, and project progress updates.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant operations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and reliability of varying systems.
  • Champion a safety-focused culture, conducting risk assessments, and implementing mitigation measures.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address engineering requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following; 

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering related field.
  • Proven experience with a minimum of 5 years in engineering with some experience in renewable energy industry will be highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD Electrical and power system analysis software.
  • Familiarity with Programming Logic Controllers (PLC) software and developing PLC logic diagrams.
  • Proficiency in using software tools specific to electrical design, such as EPLAN or similar.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and mentoring experience.
