The opportunity

As a Control Systems Engineer for Mipac you will be given a fantastic opportunity to over time learn multiple control systems, have exposure to different industries and also get to travel to sites to be a part of the on the ground support for the projects you are a part of.

You will provide technical support in all aspects of instrumentation and control systems including high-level design, integration, programming, configuration and hardware implementation.

You will provide recommendations to clients requests by interpreting these requests, exploring different options and then determining the best way to proceed that not just provides a solution for now but that will also set them up for the future.

When you are on site some of your tasks will include liaising with clients, gathering data, inspecting installations, monitoring manufacturing progress and performing commissioning tasks which will be invaluable for your experience as a Control Systems Engineer.

You will get to participate in multidiscipline project teams and interact with various internal and external stakeholders. You will work with talented and highly specialised Engineers that will support your development.

About you; what you bring to the table

• Degree in Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia.
• Experience working with either Schneider, Rockwell or Siemens PLC's and an interest to learn more!
• A willingness and ability to travel to multiple sites nationally and internationally
• Experience working in project teams
• Enthusiastic about being trained and mentored by the best in the business
• Ability to read technical documentation, write technical reports and interpret technical requests and  
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
