The Role:

Millennium is currently seeking a professional, reliable, and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Cannington. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic group of skilled and motivated professionals in a supportive environment.

We have Part time positions available, with shifts across weekends and weekdays.

ROSTER 1

• Wednesday 1800-0600
• Thursday 1700-2130

ROSTER 2

• Wednesday 1800-0600
• Thursday 1700-2130
• Friday 0900-1730
• Saturday 1130-1730

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrolling designated areas to ensure the safety and security of people and property
• Providing a professional and courteous customer service experience
• Adhering to all relevant security protocols and procedures
• Respond to emergencies, alarm events, calls for assistance and provide the necessary support.
• Assess and respond to situations of risk.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid Security Licence
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification
• Previous experience in a retail environment (highly regarded)
• 24/7 day and night availability 
• Availability for day/night and weekday/weekend shifts
• A good level of physical fitness (patrols are part of the role)
• Reliable transportation (preferred).
• The ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• A proven track record of reliability and punctuality
