The Role:

Millennium is currently seeking a professional, reliable, and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Doncaster. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic group of skilled and motivated professionals in a supportive environment.

Join our team at one of Melbourne’s leading shopping destinations! We are seeking experienced Security Officers to provide a safe and secure environment for customers, retailers, and staff.

We have Full time position available, with shifts across weekends and weekdays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrolling designated areas to ensure the safety and security of people and property
  • Monitor and manage security operations across the center
  • Operate and review CCTV systems to ensure safety and compliance
  • Conduct regular patrols (day and night shifts available)
  • Respond promptly to incidents and provide exceptional customer service
  • Providing a professional and courteous customer service experience
  • Adhering to all relevant security protocols and procedures
  • Respond to emergencies, alarm events, calls for assistance and provide the necessary support.
  • Assess and respond to situations of risk.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Security License
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certification
  • Previous experience in a retail environment (highly regarded)
  • Availability for day/night and weekday/weekend shifts
  • A good level of physical fitness (patrols are part of the role)
  • Reliable transportation (preferred).
  • The ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A proven track record of reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
