We are currently seeking professional and reliable Security Officer/s to join our team at one of our retails sites. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable organisation that values professionalism, safety, and service excellence.

About the Role

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role involves a mix of patrols, incident response, and client-facing duties.

Positions available: Full-Time / Part-Time / Casual

Potential earnings / Award Level 2

Shifts: Weekday and weekend | Day and night shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot patrols across the shopping centre
• Maintain a strong and visible security presence
• Deliver excellent customer service to tenants, retailers, and visitors
• Monitor and respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
• Use effective communication and de-escalation techniques to manage conflict
• Handle challenging situations professionally and respectfully
• Support operations during busy periods and community events
• Identify, report, and respond to hazards and security risks
• Complete incident reports and liaise with management and emergency services
• Stay physically fit and able to walk for extended periods and respond quickly when needed

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid Security Licence
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Previous Security experience (retail experience highly regarded)
• Availability to work day/night and weekday/weekend shifts
• Physically fit and able to walk for extended periods and respond quickly when required
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures
• A reliable and punctual work history
• Full Australian working rights
