About the Role

As a Security Officer/2IC, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role involves a mix of patrols, incident response, and client-facing duties.

Positions available: Full-time

Hourly rate: $28.00

Shifts: Wednesday-Thursday: 8:00AM-4:00PM

Friday-Saturday: 4:00PM-12:00AM

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets
• Manage and lead a team of Security Officers while the Security Supervisor is away.
• Provide a professional and approachable security presence
• Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance
• Identify and assess risks, taking appropriate action in line with procedures
• Adhere to all site and company security protocols
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid Security License
• Current First Aid certification
• Certificate of Approval (COA) is required
• Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded)
• Availability to work day/night and weekday/weekend shifts
• Good physical fitness, as patrols are required
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• A reliable and punctual work history
• Full New Zealand working rights
