About The Opportunity  

 

As the Business System Support Analyst in our Americas region based in Vancouver, you will be essential in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our internal Oracle NetSuite users. By providing excellent support and training, you will minimise downtime and enhance productivity across the organisation. 

 

Reporting to the Head of Business Applications, your key responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Providing telephone, email, and face-to-face support for internal Oracle NetSuite users. 
  • Documenting all support issues in the company support management database. 
  • Leveraging your understanding of business processes and expertise in Oracle NetSuite and software development to effectively triage and resolve all level 1 and level 2 support cases. 
  • Escalating level 3 and above issues, enhancement requests, bugs, and development issues to the Project Team for resolution. 
  • Participating in internal User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new NetSuite features and versions. 
  • Delivering systems training both online and face-to-face to in-house staff. 
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge base articles. 

 

About You 

 

You are a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a proven background in technical support/ help desk roles. You have experience working directly with end-users to provide effective training and resolve technical issues efficiently. You possess excellent communication skills and a strong ability to troubleshoot and think critically. 

 

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications: 

 

  • A Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related
  • Experience with and advanced knowledge of Oracle NetSuite (CRM, Advanced Revenue Recognition, Suite Development Framework etc) – functional customization experience preferred
  • Recent experience with business solutions such as SAP, Zendesk, Freshdesk, PowerBI etc
  • Hands-on experience with TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Proficiency in using issue tracking solutions like Jira, Zendesk, or Asana. 
  • Strong business acumen with exposure to lead-to-cash processes and an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Ability to manage and prioritise support requests from a global user base. 
  • Professional fluency in English required, fluency in Spanish is a bonus.
