About The Opportunity

We are seeking a Mining Lead to oversee the technical pre-sales and delivery function for Micromine’s mining solutions across the APAC region. This role blends hands-on pre-sales activity with leadership responsibilities, guiding and developing a high-performing team of mining consultants.

As the regional technical authority for Alastri, Beyond and Advance, you will collaborate closely with our Sales, Product, and Services teams to drive revenue, ensure successful software implementations, and provide meaningful insight into product development.

  • Lead and mentor a team of mining consultants and technical specialists
  • Set team priorities, expectations and drive a high-performance culture.
  • Lead technical pre-sales activities including demos, workshops, tenders, and proof-of-concept studies.
  • Partner with Business Development Managers to support opportunity identification and closure.
  • Provide technical input for proposals, solution designs and commercial discussions.
  • Identify customer growth opportunities through training, engagement and implementations.
  • Develop and deliver strategic, value-focused demonstrations and presentations.


About You

You will bring strong leadership capability, deep technical expertise in open pit mine planning, and the ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with mining clients.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in mine planning, scheduling, or mining software solutions
  • Proven technical consulting, pre-sales or other client-facing experience
  • Previous team leadership or mentoring experience (desirable)
  • Strong commercial mindset with solution-selling experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with Alastri or alternative mine planning software (advantageous)
