About The Opportunity

Our Micromine Australia team, based in the Perth HQ, are currently seeking a Principal or Senior level Mining Engineer to join them.

Being the largest and fastest-growing region of Micromine, this role will put you at the forefront of delivering world-class open pit scheduling solutions for our growing customer base. Play a leading role in the next phase of growth for the Micromine Alastri product through delivering product demonstrations, technical input into the commercial process, configuring projects to customer needs and overall ensuring customer success.

 Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work alongside business development managers to identify, develop, and close opportunities within key accounts.
  • Deliver technical aspects of our solution selling process, including client demonstrations, technical input into sales proposals, customer success and support.
  • Work with the customer to ensure the software is being used to its optimum during implementation.


About You

Ideally you will have a mining operational background with hands on experience using mine scheduling software.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Must have experience with Micromine Alastri. Experience across both Tactical and Production Scheduler would be highly advantageous.
  • Site based experience in a mine production, planning or operational role.
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of mine scheduling systems and processes.
  • Technical consulting or pre-sales experience will be highly advantageous.
  • A recognised tertiary earth science or engineering qualification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
