About The Opportunity

Our Micromine Australia team, based in Perth (HQ), are currently seeking a Mining Engineer to join them.

Being the largest and fastest-growing region of Micromine, this role will put you at the forefront of technical support for Micromine Alastri customers, whilst also assisting with client training and product development.

Reporting to the Principal of the team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Level 2 and 3 support for customers to solve complex mining engineer problems
  • Delivering training courses for clients as needed (face-to-face and online).
  • Providing technical support for Micromine’s global network of personnel and partners.
  • Work closely with the development team, providing feedback on new features, and assessing impacts on support procedures and documentation.

 

About You

Ideally you will have a mining operational background with hands on experience using Mine scheduling software.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Senior site based experience in a mine production, planning or scheduling role – ideally in open pit.
  • Hands-on experience with mine scheduling software. Experience using Micromine-Alastri software would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience with technical support and training would be beneficial.
