About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Mining Solutions Manager, Mine Control, based in Johannesburg, to lead the charge in growing our flagship Pitram product within a dedicated EMEA region. If you thrive at the intersection of mining and technology and know how to turn opportunities into long-term partnerships, this is your chance to make a real impact:

  • Drive new business development for Micromine’s Pitram Mine Control solution, identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities.
  • Champion our go-to-market strategy, delivering compelling value propositions to the underground mining sector.
  • Build strong networks, fostering trust with key stakeholders and growing long-term client relationships.
  • Partner with technical pre-sales and implementation experts to ensure seamless delivery and client success.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline, manage renewals, and support growth strategies that keep customers coming back.
  • Represent Micromine at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings across the region.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have a strong technical understanding of software sales and services, ideally within mining. The ability to communicate the value of technology in a competitive, established market will set you up for success. Other requirements are:

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with the confidence to influence on all levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen and an ability to balance growth with customer success.
  • Attention to detail, focus, tenacity and comfort in leading virtual teams to support a sales engagement.
