About The Opportunity
Join our Technical Licencing & Customer care team as a Technical Support Specialist, where you will help clients across the globe get the most out of Micromine’s industry-leading software.
This is a client-facing role where no two days are the same. You will be solving problems, delivering smart solutions and building your technical skills across operating systems, networks, applications and virtual environments. This is your chance to:
- Provide support for clients with active maintenance agreements.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across a broad IT environment.
- Use remote tools to resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
- Record cases accurately in our support system and contributing to our knowledge base.
- Partner and collaborate with senior specialists on root cause analysis.
- Partnering with product development teams to verify and track software bugs.
About You
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to develop in a client-focused IT support environment. You’ll bring:
- Some experience in IT or technical support, ideally with direct customer interaction.
- A curious, problem-solving mindset with strong communication skills.
- A broad interest in IT, whether that’s operating systems, networks, or applications.
- The confidence to work independently and the people skills to build strong client relationships.
- A tertiary IT qualification or industry certifications, desirable
- Exposure to ITIL practices, desirable
- Familiarity with Windows Server, SQL, or virtualisation technologies, desirable
