About the Opportunity
As a Commercial Analyst, based in our Perth office, you’ll play a key role in supporting collaboration across our divisions. You'll be responsible for collecting and analysing customer and mine site data to uncover strategic opportunities for engagement, while working closely with regional teams to introduce these insights to our sales teams.
This is a highly analytical and stakeholder-facing role where you'll combine commercial insight, data interpretation, and strategic coordination to support and drive business alignment across multiple regions.
key responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collating and maintaining customer and mine site lists across the Minerals and ESCO divisions.
- Analysing customer data to identify high-value opportunities for Digital engagement.
- Coordinating and tracking warm introductions to the Digital sales team.
- Building and maintaining dashboards and reports to support informed decision-making.
- Engaging with stakeholders across functions and regions to ensure execution of commercial strategy.
- Providing insights and recommendations to inform commercial direction.
- Domestic, international, and mine site travel as required.
About You
Key skills, experience, and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial analyst, business analyst, or sales operations role.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across different levels and regions.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and delivering under deadlines.
- Experience working in cross-functional or matrixed environments.
- Exposure to the mining, industrial, or technology sectors will be highly regarded.
