About The Opportunity
Our Alastri team based in Perth are looking for a Technical Solutions Specialist to join them. In this role you will be responsible for scripting customised solutions, using C#, for clients of our open pit scheduling software, Micromine Alastri.
Reporting directly to the Technical Services Manager, Alastri your key responsibilities will include:
- Script customised solutions for new and existing clients within the Micromine Alastri software using C#.
- Provide technical expertise to client-facing aspects of the Micromine Alastri business, including proof of concept and technical pre-sales.
- Work efficiently using the hardware, software, and cloud services provided by or utilised by Micromine Alastri.
About You
You will have a background as a Software Developer or as a Mining Engineer with strong interest in scripting and demonstrated ability to script solutions to solve mine planning problems.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
- Programming skills. C# preferred but other scripting languages accepted – Python, C++ etc.
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant industry experience.
