About The Opportunity

As the Technical Specialist, working 100% remotely from home, you will play a key support role for customers of our fleet management and mine production system, Micromine Pitram. Being at the forefront of client interactions, your work will solidify customer relationships and ensure their satisfaction.

Reporting to the Principal Consultant – Micromine Pitram, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with Micromine Pitram implementations across the Americas, as well as globally when required.
  • Providing telephone, email, and face-to-face support for license holders.
  • Conducting training with clients and in-house staff (in-person and online).
  • Ensuring enhancement requests, bugs, and development issues are raised and resolved.
  • BETA testing new versions and products to check improved functionality.
  • Supporting the Sales team during technical demonstrations, trade shows, and other events.

About You

You will have proven experience within help desk or technical support positions, including a working knowledge of networking and database technologies (e.g. SQL, Oracle).

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • A tertiary qualification in either Information Technology, Mechatronics, Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
  • The ability to travel, nationally or internationally, to manage Micromine Pitram implementations.
  • Whilst not essential, previous exposure to the Mining sector would be useful.
