Support FP&A in all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting for the consolidated group, through the provision of accurate and insightful financial analysis.

We currently have an exciting contract opportunity for a dynamic and experienced FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team on a 12-month basis. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, the FP&A Analyst role is accountable for providing support in all aspects of budgeting, forecast, analysis and reporting for the consolidated group, through the provision of accurate and insightful financial analysis.

Key responsibilities:

The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide accurate and timely month-end reports to internal stakeholders – including Senior Manager, Group FP&A and Finance Business Partner, Corporate – providing insightful commentaries enabling a clear view of business performance.
  • Assist the Finance Business Partner, Corporate in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts of the Technology and People & Culture portfolios, engaging with all budget owners.
  • Support the preparation of the annual APAM ACCC statutory reporting on commercial returns by business units.
  • Prepare monthly analysis, including accruals, and reporting for the People & Culture department.
  • Assist the Senior Manager, FP&A in maintaining the integrity of the budgeting and forecasting system.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce or similar
  • Proven senior finance experience in a large corporate environment.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint, Dynamics 365 experience preferred.
  • Excellent written, presentation and verbal skills including report writing.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with a track record of effectively managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving approach that uses research, insights and data to inform decision making.
